We decided to offer this class for one reason. We know how important physical activity is to your health. It reduces risk for high blood pressure, improves mood, boosts energy, promotes a healthy weight– and even improves sleep (and let’s face it…every parent needs better sleep!)

Plus, consider this. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends at least 150 minutes of cardio activity weekly – plus, at least two strength training sessions. Yet, 53 percent of Americans aren’t meeting this requirement. That’s why we hired Julie Arts, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, to teach a free fitness class right here. So, you can squeeze in a workout session while your kids play.

Kids and Exercise – The Perks

Attending our FREE fitness class isn’t just good for you. It’s good for your kids, too. Here’s why. Physical activity gives kids stronger muscles, stronger bones, reduced risk for diabetes AND lower risk for developing type 2 diabetes. Kids need at least 60 minutes of aerobic activity daily, according to the CDC. And guess what? Playing at JJ Jump counts!

It also counts toward your child’s strength training requirement (which is at least three times weekly). So, attending our free class helps you AND your children stay healthy!

Limited-Time Offer…Kids Play FREE!

There’s never a cost for attending our FREE fitness class. JJ Jump pays the instructor – so you can just show up! Your only cost is your child’s admission to jump; which is $6.50 per visit or $40 for a 10-visit Jump Pass. But, for a limited time, your first visit is on us. This means, the class is FREE (like always) and your child plays for free. We’re doing this so you can try out the class…and see how awesome it is!

JJ is excited to be a part of the home school family! We have been homeschooling our son Johnathan with the help and encouragement of our friends at Basic Skills Assessment Center in Oregon City. We quickly realized that we needed more social and physical activities to round out this great experience we are having teaching our son.

We have enjoyed having  home school kids come for events and as individuals over the past 4 years. Now,  a home school family  ourselves, we are looking to put together a variety of class offerings and are looking for your feedback on what types of events and or classes you would like to see us offer.  Any feedback and or comments  are greatly appreciated
